Other things should be checked regularly like the cooling system, other fluids such as brake, power steering and transmission, and your tire air pressure should be maintained at the proper levels to ensure a safe ride and proper tread wear

The most common reason for Highway a breakdown is overheating. Your Hoses, belts, antifreeze and radiator should be checked at every oil change.
